Privacy Policy – Revisely

1. Introduction

Revisely ("we", "our", or "us") is a DSA and Coding Logic quiz application. We prioritize your privacy and aim to be fully transparent about the data handled by our Android application.

2. Information We Handle

Revisely is designed to work with minimal data collection. However, certain information is processed to enable core features:

User Profile: We store a Username and Avatar selection provided by you for in-app personalization.
User-Created Content: Any personal study notes or "Logic Cards" created in the Notebook section are stored on your device.
App Progress: We track your quiz scores, XP, streaks, and unlocked levels to manage your learning journey.

We do not collect sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) such as your phone number, email address, or physical location.

3. Cloud Synchronization (Google Auto-Backup)

Revisely utilizes the Android Auto-Backup system. This means your app data (including progress, username, and notes) is automatically synchronized to your private Google Drive account.

This ensures your progress is restored if you reinstall the app or change devices.
We do not have access to this backup data; it is encrypted and managed solely by Google.
You can manage or disable this in your device settings under Google → Backup.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect certain device-specific information, including:

Device Identifiers: Such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID).
Interaction Data: Information on how you interact with ads to provide relevant content.

You can opt out of personalized ads via your device settings (Google → Ads).

5. Permissions & Background Tasks

To provide reliable reminders, Revisely uses the RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED permission. This allows the app to reschedule your local study reminders automatically after your device restarts. No personal data is transmitted during this process.

6. Data Security

Since data is stored locally and within your personal Google Cloud backup, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings. We do not transmit any user data to external third-party servers beyond the services mentioned above.
